Work you can commission on its own
Not every question belongs in a transaction mandate. Sometimes what is needed is simply a clear, documented answer: whether a market carries the product, whether a counterparty is what it claims to be, whether a business case survives its own assumptions, or what is actually left in a contact base that has not been worked for two years.
Each report is agreed as a fixed scope with a defined deliverable and a fixed fee before work starts. Reports are written in English or German. Nothing in a report obliges you to proceed with anything, and no mandate relationship follows from commissioning one.
- Markets, volumes, demand drivers and price formation
- Suppliers, offtakers, traders and intermediaries in a target market
- Regulatory, permitting, import and export requirements
- Competitor positioning, pricing behaviour and entry barriers
- Cost benchmarks and comparable transaction reference points
- Jurisdiction and market-entry route comparison
- Technology and vendor comparison on commercial criteria
- Counterparty, ownership and group-structure research
- Your own contact base, pipeline and dormant opportunities
Screening Note
A short written answer to one defined question — a single counterparty, one offer, one market, one supplier route.
- The question as agreed, restated in scope terms
- Findings with each statement marked verified, unverified or assumption
- Concrete recommendation and the conditions attached to it
Used when a decision has to be made quickly and the alternative is guessing.
Market Study
Demand, supply, pricing and the regulatory picture for a defined product in a defined market.
- Market structure, volumes and demand drivers
- Supply side: producers, traders, intermediaries and typical routes to market
- Price formation, benchmarks, spreads and cost positions
- Regulatory, permitting and import or export framework
- Competitor landscape and entry barriers
- Entry routes with effort, timeline and risk per route
Used before entering a market, adding a product line or committing to a supply route.
Counterparty Report
A documented picture of who you would actually be dealing with, before goods or money move.
- Legal entity, registration data and corporate history
- Ownership chain and beneficial-owner picture as far as public sources allow
- Sanctions, watchlist and adverse-media screening with search parameters disclosed
- Group structure, related parties and operational footprint
- Open points that public sources cannot answer, and what to request directly
Used for new counterparties, unclear group structures and pre-contract screening.
Every report states what was checked, against which source, and as of which date.
Commercial Assessment Report
A structured assessment of whether a project, business case or model holds up commercially and technically.
- Assumption inventory: what the case depends on and how sensitive it is
- Technical and commercial plausibility review against market reference points
- Revenue, cost and timeline assumptions tested against comparable cases
- Red-flag register with severity rating and recommended conditions
- Clear go, conditional or no-go view with the reasoning behind it
Used before capital, guarantees or binding commitments are given.
Network & Pipeline Review
Work on your own contact base and pipeline instead of ours — most companies already hold more value in their address book than they use.
- Review and consolidation of the existing contact base
- Segmentation by relevance, decision power and commercial potential
- Qualification of dormant contacts and stalled opportunities
- Pipeline assessment with realistic status per opportunity
- Managed outreach and reactivation sequence with documented status reporting
- Lightweight CRM and follow-up structure so the work does not decay again
Used when the pipeline feels thinner than the network actually is.
How we source and mark information
A report is only worth the sourcing behind it. Ours follows a fixed hierarchy, and it shows its work.
Primary documents first
Contracts, offers, permits, technical reports, filings and correspondence supplied by you or obtained directly from the source.
Public registers and official publications
Commercial registers, regulatory and authority publications, sanctions and watchlist sources, statistical offices and market operators.
Direct market conversations
Structured conversations with suppliers, operators, traders and service providers, conducted on a named or neutral basis as agreed with you.
Licensed and commercial data
Paid data and register access where a question genuinely requires it, agreed with you in advance and disclosed in the report.
Marked, not blurred
Every material statement is marked verified, unverified or assumption. Where sources conflict, the conflict is shown rather than resolved silently.
Tooling with a human in the loop
AI-assisted collection and structuring speeds up the work; every finding that enters a report is reviewed and signed off by a person.
Use and limits
Reports are prepared for the internal use of the party commissioning them. Passing a report to banks, investors or other third parties requires our written consent, so that the scope it was written for stays attached to it.
Every report states its as-of date and the information base it rests on. Findings reflect the sources available at that date; where a question could not be answered from an accessible source, the report says so instead of filling the gap.
Our reports are commercial and technical-commercial in nature. They are not legal, tax or investment advice, they are not valuations for lending, accounting or court purposes, and they are not expert opinions of a publicly appointed or sworn expert. Legal and tax questions remain with licensed advisors in the relevant jurisdiction.
